These stockings have never been on a doll and are about 3 to 3 1/2 inches long. They have a little woven in bulge near the top and are very stretchy. Depending on the width of foot and leg, the socks can fit 12 to 18 inch dolls. For the smaller doll or doll leg, the top can be turned down. And, by purchasing 2 pair you save on postage! Such a deal!!
